Christmas Day – 25th December
Boxing Day – 26th December
New Years Day – 1st January
If you need help when we are closed
In the event of a medical or mental health emergency please call 999.
For non-emergencies use NHS 111 online or call 111. NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Other services that are available over the holiday period
- Pharmacy First service as a walk-in service from community pharmacy for certain conditions, i.e. sore throat, sinusitis, otitis media (children), urinary tract infections (women), shingles, infected insect bites and impetigo.
- Dental out of hours/urgent dental centres.
- Minor Illness and Injury Units.
- GHAC 8 – 8 service.
- NHS App – the NHS App gives you a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services. It is designed to help manage health conditions, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions etc.
