Support for GP practices
G DOC provides support to Gloucestershire’s Primary Care Networks and practices. We have been able to help them develop their sustainability and transformation plans and to submit funding bids and to respond to tenders. We have also provided back-office support for projects from initiation through to implementation, including the provision of improved extended access.
Nursing services
Through the G DOC nursing service, practices can access expert nurses without the costs of recruitment or difficulties in retention. Our nurses provide specialist long-term condition management (as well as general practice nursing), reducing the workload of practice clinicians. They train practice nurses and help ensure that practices meet QOF targets and CQC standards.
Directly commissioned services
As the countywide GP provider company, G DOC provides services to other organisations, including Gloucestershire CCG, for example the COVID medicine service.
