Appointments

Before booking an appointment, you may find it useful to have a look at our Referrals page for details of a number of services locally that you are able to make self referrals to.

Partners in Health has the advantage of two Surgeries. Therefore, if one Surgery is fully booked we have the flexibility to offer you (providing there are spaces) an appointment at the other location.

If you are trying to book an emergency appointment, which will normally be with our duty doctor, then we cannot guarantee a specific location. This is because the duty doctor can be based at either our Pavilion (Stroud Road) or St James (Quedgeley) surgeries on different days.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email

Home visits

If possible please try to call reception, Pavilion Family Doctors 01452 385555 or St James Family Doctors 01452 385555.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back to discuss your situation in more detail. A home visit may be the best solution but other options might be more appropriate.

Home visits are generally only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability. Unfortunately we cannot make home visits because you have no transport or other non-medical issues.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the surgery in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients in the surgery.
